"Black Labrador"

This lovely Black Labrador lived in our village of Studley Roger, before we moved. The study sprang from a commissioned drawing that left a host of unused photographs from which I chose this one to portray the breed. Although some artists claim black dogs are hard to draw, I find them surprisingly easy and very enjoyable.

The drawing took approximately 82 hours to complete.
